What we collect:
- Anonymous nickname: A randomly generated name (e.g. "Happy Panda") that cannot identify you
- Technical identifier: A unique code (UUID) stored locally on your device to identify you in leaderboards
- Game scores: Your in-game performance for ranking purposes
What we do NOT collect:
- First name, last name, or real identity
- Email address
- Phone number
- GPS location
- Contacts
- Photos or personal files
2. Use of Data
The collected data is used solely to:
- Display your score in leaderboards
- Save your game progress
- Improve the gaming experience
We never sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Advertising
GeoWorld displays ads provided by Google AdMob to fund the development of the application.
Regarding advertising:
- Google AdMob may collect technical data (advertising ID, device type) to display relevant ads
- You can disable ad personalization in your device settings

💡 Tip: To limit ad tracking, enable the "Limit ad tracking" option in your phone settings.
4. Data Storage
- On your device: Your nickname and identifier are stored locally
- On our servers: Only anonymous nicknames and scores are stored for leaderboards
- Retention period: Scores are kept for 30 days in leaderboards
5. Cookies
The GeoWorld application does not use cookies.
The leaderboard website may use essential technical cookies required for proper operation.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: You can view your scores within the application
- Right to erasure: Uninstall the app to remove all local data. Your scores will automatically be removed from leaderboards after 30 days
- Right to modification: You can generate a new nickname in the app settings
7. Security
We take data security seriously:
- Encrypted communications (HTTPS)
- No sensitive data stored
- Secure servers located in France
